There are a number of women who have brought about immense change in society.
We have not invaded anyone. We have not conquered anyone. We have not grabbed their land, their culture, their history and tried to enforce our way of life on them.
Some of the greatest survivors have been women. Look at the courage so many women have shown after surviving earthquakes in the rubble for days on end.
Those who weep for the happy periods which they encounter in history acknowledge what they want; not the alleviation but the silencing of misery.
Love is a sacrifice. You must feel pain, but it will make you stronger, wiser and more beautiful.
The best times to show true love are when it isn’t easy and it requires personal sacrifice.
If you begin by sacrificing yourself to those you love, you will end by hating those to whom you have sacrificed yourself.
Love requires sacrifice, but it’s worth it.
If you love someone, you’ll be willing to sacrifice your dreams for them. If they love you, they won’t let you.
When you really care about someone, their happiness matters more than yours.
Small sacrifices must be made.
I just want you to be happy, even if that “Happy” doesn’t include me anymore.
True love requires sacrifice.
A strong relationship starts with two people who are ready to sacrifice anything for each other.
True love is selfless. It is prepared to sacrifice.
Sacrificing your happiness for the happiness of the one you love, is by far, the truest type of love.
Don’t sacrifice yourself too much, because if you sacrifice too much there’s nothing else you can give and nobody will care for you.
Sacrifice is nothing other than the production of sacred things.
My belief is firm in a law of compensation. The true rewards are ever in proportion to the labour and sacrifices made.
It is not sacrifice if you love what you’re doing.
