I am wolf. Quietly I will endure, silently I will suffer, patiently I will wait for. I am a warrior and I will survive.
Art will survive, artists won’t.
Whether or not we believe in survival of consciousness after death, reincarnation, and karma, it has very serious implications for our behavior.
If any civilization is to survive, it is the morality of altruism that men have to reject.
Man’s unique reward, however, is that while animals survive by adjusting themselves to their background, man survives by adjusting his background to himself.
The tales of our exploits will survive as long as the human voice itself.
Let me make one thing clear. I have never considered mere survival in power as any achievement, just as I have never seen coming to power as an achievement in itself.
The ultimate value of life depends upon awareness and the power of contemplation rather than upon mere survival.
The weak die out and the strong will survive, and will live on forever.
Cursed is the man who dies, but the evil done by him survives.
Survival is not about being fearless. It’s about making a decision. Getting on and doing it. Because I want to see my kids again, or whatever the reason might be.
Weather can kill you so fast. The first priority of survival is getting protection from the extreme weather.
Some of the greatest survivors have been women. Look at the courage so many women have shown after surviving earthquakes in the rubble for days on end.
Survival requires us to leave our prejudices at home. It’s about doing whatever it takes – and ultimately those with the biggest heart will win.
Survival can be summed up in three words – never give up. That’s the heart of it really. Just keep trying.
