I breathe in my courage and exhale my fear.
Fear is a reaction. Courage is a decision.
Love is a beautiful kind of fear.

Don’t fear God, fear Karma. God forgives, karma doesn’t.
Whether we believe in God or karma, ethics is the foundation of every religion.
I’m Hispanic. I’m a Catholic. I believe in God. I believe in karma.

On the one hand, maybe I’ve remained infantile, while on the other I matured quickly, because at a young age I was very aware of suffering and fear.

I started flying because I had a fear of it early on. I figured if I learned to fly, I would understand better what was happening and started taking lessons in the late 1950’s, once I had made some money on tour.
That is what we do each time we see someone who falls in love with evil strategies, until we hurl him into misery, so he may learn to fear the Gods.
Poverty, the most fearful monster that ever drew breath.
Shrines! Shrines! Surely you don’t believe in the gods. What’s your argument? Where’s your proof?
Never take counsel of your fears.
Our government is founded upon the intelligence of the people. I for one do not despair of the republic. I have great confidence in the virtue of the great majority of the people, and I cannot fear the result.
