Let the players play, let the haters hate, and let karma handle their fate.
Make-up can only make you look pretty on the outside but it doesn’t help if you’re ugly on the inside. Unless you eat the make-up.
There are more important things than outward appearance. No amount of makeup can cover an ugly personality.
I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and… I believe in miracles.
The difference between a ‘player’ and a ‘playboy’ is a few million bucks.
Fate shuffles the cards and we play.
You must play boldly to win.
I think I’ve heard somebody say that I was a well-dressed golfer. I guess that has something to do with the fact that a lot of people who play golf don’t dress very well.
I probably have a club in my hands 360 days a year, one way or another, playing with friends or just fiddling around or hitting balls.
My problem happens to be nearsightedness – inability to see distance. And this is pretty tough on a golfer.
My search for ways to improve my touch has never ended. We players tried a lot of different things and compared notes. Little fads would set in.
Had I not become a professional golfer, I think I would have pursued some type of career in aviation.
Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated; it satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time rewarding and maddening – and it is without a doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented.
Everyone I built a course for thinks they have the best golf course in the world and I’m very pleased and proud of that.
Every day I play golf, that’s my goal. To break 70 the other way. To shoot 70 or better.
When I prepare for a match, it’s like work, even the way I have to shower and put on my makeup.
I wasn’t the most technical player. But I was fast, and if I push the ball past a player, I can get there. Everyone always made fun of me in a good way for that.
I’ve always wanted to become a professional soccer player.
Whenever people say “women’s soccer,” I want to correct them to say “soccer.” Every girl has had their sport diminished because they’re girls.
I could be a model for one night. But I’m also a professional soccer player, and I like to be taken seriously on the field.
